When you come to the Writing Center, you can expect a one-on-one session with an experienced peer writing consultant. Consultants are advanced writers who are trained in a wide array of writing topics. They can help you at any stage of the process, including:

Generating and organizing ideas
Proofreading your own work effectively
Writing persuasively
Conducting research
Ci

ting and quoting sources correctly

The Writing Center also maintains multiple handouts on issues related to writing. All work done and discussed in the Writing Center will remain confidential and will not be shared without your permission.
