This is going to be the end of the Heinzl matter. As a matter of fact. I just copied the rest of this from what was really the end of it. The last Private message I intend to respond to over a Heinzel dog EVER. I managed to make it 50 years without having to write one explination about a mistake over a Heinzl pedigree. And I'm pretty sure I know where I made my mistake here, That won't happen again ever.

I had the wrong pedigree up. There was quite a stir about it. But it was not on purpose I assure you. I couldn't tell you diddly squat about any dog on that pedigree. I bought the dog, cause I like the dog. And he was off of Heinzl's dogs. I don't know exactly what happened that night. But I'm sure it had something to do with a Heizl pedigree poping up and me not knowing anything about the pedigree but that it should have a lot of Heinzl dogs on it. Which that one did. I did not come here to revive the Hinzel line. Or get involved in the least bit of drama concerning that dog. He is a novelty item at best. And will not be allowed to be any more of a distraction then a few of these messages. Oh and look. This one puts him over the limit. Well I guess that is the end of that. Thank you. And have a good day.

Jimmy Mayfield my friend part two.
Well the next time I saw Jimmy was 8 months later. After the first attempt at Ch. Cowboy. The Davidson's collected a forfeit after the match with cowboy. After Jimmy and that crew left. Joe Ash and Joe Davis had asked the twins if they had a dog they cared to roll with this big male they had picked up the night before. Now it was decided to use the dog they had collected the forfeit on. Which was the same weight as the dogs in the first match. A dog named George. Who was 10 or 12 pounds smaller than the big dog. Now my understanding at the time. Was that they had give several thousands of dollars for the dog. And he was gaurinted to win. That's right, WIN! Well I naturally expected that to mean he had a hard bite. And he did. And under normal conditions I could see someone thinking he's gonna be hard to beat. George was a littermate to Long's Weirdo. And all the stories you have heard about the mouth on those dogs. Pale in comparison to the one I'm telling you now. I seen this with my own eyes. Well they brought them in and released them. When they came together George was trying to get to the shoulder. The big dog was working on Georges skull across the top of the head. And he was cutting him to the bone. But then the big dog made a bad mistake. And started trading shoulders. Soon as they laid in. You could hear the shoulder breaking. I thought the little dog has had it for sure. Of course they moved in with the sticks and broke them apart. And to my great surprise it was the big dogs shoulder that was obviously broke. when they let them go. George promptly went over and broke the opposite leg. He didn't shake his head. He just broke it with pure bite. Baked up one more time. When let go. George raced over , kinda did a hook slide move and wemt under the big dog. I was behind George. And he just disappeared. And when he came out the other side. He had the big dogs balls in his mouth. And they were no longer attached. Except to tube from one of the testicles. Which streached out like a rubber band. Well everyone had pretty much been standing in stunned silence since the shoulder had got broke. At this point most looked away. Three grown men lost their breakfast. And the big dog said to hell with this. And went for the exit. I've never for one instance thought that dog was a cur.
So in August we were getting ready to take back our lost Christmas Presents. About a week out Tommy Curry called to tell the twins that Randy Had a lot of heat on him. Well Clark had a lot of irons in the fire to say the least. But the Davidson brothers looked at each and said the same thing. " They heard about George!" They probably would have not stopped us from coming if they would have put up a road block. We was coming. I took two good friends of mine. That was just getting started in the game also. And my wife Terry. It was a morning show again. And we arrived before daylight. There was several people there when we got there. Everyone meet that morning at Clarks house. Well not very long after we got there they started taking spectators to the pit site in a large passenger van. No one but Randy. The guy driving everyone over in the van. And one bump-monkey who had helped set the site up the day before. And was now crashed out in the house. Content to sleep through the festivities. Cause he was no part of a dogman or even a man at all. Well no one was allowed to take their own vehicle. And I left mine there. and me and my crew got in the van on the very first trip.
Since Christmas I had come a long way. I had bought two brothers from a guy in Tyler named Sharriff. Who lived over by Peach Park. He was a dealer and an addict. But he was a cool mother fu**er. At the time I didn't realize he was high on herion every time I was over there. And sometimes he was not cool. And very rude. Or you couldn't get him to the door. At the time I didn't really understand what was going on. Now I know these drastic personality changes had to do with addiction. But I was already in the practice of my life long practice of excepting people how they are. And if I can't I leave them alone. Anyway. I bought two littermates , brothers off his Lonzo Pratt dogs. He had went to lonzo's yard and bought two dogs. A male and female. Heavy King Elvis breed dogs. One was the dog that would become Coy's Ch. C***k. C***k killed his brother in a roll at about 9 or 10 months old. And was schedualed not very long after the second match into Cowboy. I had met David Adams the man that owned the bitch that would become Coy's Ch. Cookie. I had met Bobby Joe Sheldon and old man Curry, Tommy's dad. Earlier that summer at a off the chain match between David and Cookie against Bobby Joe and Mr Curry with a sister to Cowboy. An ultra game bitch that hade gotten bit down in aq very short time, especially considering Cookie never even started. I had also met Danny Lawless. A man was never named more appropriately named than old Danny. Lawless just about summed it up. Good guy. Fist fighting som-bitch. I had acquired Cookie after that. And she was hooked up not far behind C***k for my second contract. I had bought a 2xw from the twins off Gr. Ch. Spike. Who later that winter would become mine and Gr. Ch. Spikes first Champion. Ch. Spiky and his two littermate brother band sister. After I seen him win his second over Drew Favor. And I was rapidly forming my opinions about bloodlines, breeders, peddlers. And match dogs. And most importantly dog men.
That day I would met the r.est of the main players of the people who for the most part be in control of the family of dogs that I myself would take to be my own. At that time they wasn't even recognized by anyone outside the core group of people that I speak of. T. McCool, L.G., Joe Hoskins, Connie Tyson, Tommy Curry, Randy and Juanita Clark. AND OF COURSE JIMMY MAYFIELD

I started this in another place. But I ain't gonna finish it there. Let me say so as not to confuse anyone. Jimmy is one of my oldest and dearest friends. Who became family over the years. A dearly loved one. I never allowed any harm to come to him in my presence. Or stood buy ideal while he suffered hardship. This is just a humble attempt at expressing my feelings about our friendship.

I'm to tired, and Jimmy deserves better then a brief mention in this bu****it from a tired mind. But I WILL COME TO THE AID OF FRIEND WEATHER HE BE BANJO OR JIMMY MAYFIELD OR BOBBY SMITH. Just as I did when they were alive. And the consequences where much more severe. I made up my mind I will not set silent and still ever again when I know they are under assalt. It always amazes me when people come forward claiming great love and admiration for someone. And especially the dead. And they feel it necessary to add to that person, or fear to talk about certain aspects of that person. Because they might tarnish the IMAGE of that person. They themselves have made. Idolatry is the gravest of sins. Because when you present an image of someone for people to admire and respect. You take away any chance for that person to have a glimpse of the real person. Which you claim to know and love. But what your really doing is ellavateing that person's celebrity status in an attempt to raise your own importance. And there in lies the gravest of sin. The sinners do this to the people who have the misfortune to have came into there field of gravity. They latch onto some one they perceive as being known or famous. They manipulate the relationship from the begining. Showering the person with praise and half harmed claims. And all kinds of promises. They never fullfill. They begin the work of building up the image. That at some point, usually death. They begin to worship the image they have created. They show their true feelings for the real person. Buy changing the truth about that person. To make them something they never was. Our friend here would change all of history. To protect the image he has created, and in so doing. His own self importance.

The first time I ever saw Jimmy Mayfield was at the Cowboys and ? ANONYMOUS DEAD JEEP REDBOY dog. Between the Davidson Twins who I was with. And Randy and Juanita Clark's Cowboys dog. Who Jimmy was with. It was a morning event. Jimmy did not impress me. Or any of that crew. But Cowboys did. And it's lasted to this day. Solid and firm. Unshaking. I was very young and very clean and sober. In those early days. Randy and the whole bunch were what was known in my family. As biker trash. The lowest form of white man there is. Drunk and high and rowdy as hell. Down the road several years, that would become not only, my kind of people. That bunch would become my very people. And that boy would grow to become for several years the head of that family. But not that day. That day I would be left in bewilderment. I could not understand how people of such low standards had come to be in control of such a fine animal. When the things I had been taught about such folks made that impossible. Especially when a honest hard working boy like me. Who had tried so hard with the purest of intentions. Could under no circumstances pro quer one even close. It was my first match. And my despair was greatly multiplied over this condition. Which before that day I only was vaguely aware of my poverty. After Cowboy, I could not bare the lies I had been told about, or the the ones I myself had been telling myself. I had some image problems my damn self back then. And was immediately cast into the great conflict between want and desire and there greatest foe. THE TRUTH.

ONE OTHER IMPRESSION WAS DEEPLY INGRAINED ON ME THAT DAY. The one of those Bunch of dopeheads and drunks leaving with all our money. Singing jingle-bells. 14 days before Christmas. And how hard my life was going to be over the next several weeks.

I will take a break here. And will return later and take up the story of how me and Jimmy Mayfield would come to know each other , and start a friendship that would last for over 30 years. Through thick and thin. And a bond that could not be broken no matter the distance and time. Rodney, please look in those papers I gave you. Go through Jimmy's letters to me in prison. There is one particular one. You'Lloyd know it when you read it. Please take a picture or something of it. And send to me. If you don't mind. Id like to call my friend Jimmy Mayfield to the stand. And give him a chance to speak for me. If you would be so kind. Thank you gentlemen. And I would give some of you a warning. It won't do no good. It never does. But I'll give it none the less. If you speak now based on where the story is. I PROMISE YOU. YOU WILL BE MADE A TOTAL ASS. THANK YOU AGAIN GENTLEMEN. GOOD NIGHT
