Thank you to the Tanner Center for Human Rights for their support in last night’s Women of the World event- it filled my heart.
I felt so grateful to be surrounded by women I admire and love — strong, joyful, resilient women who remind me how powerful community can be.
One of the most special moments was cheering on Peneh and her girls in the fashion show wearing their beautiful traditional clothing from Myanmar (Burma). My mom always considered Peneh and her family part of our family, so it meant a lot to see them shining on that stage.
An evening celebrating culture, strength, and sisterhood❤️

We honor the memory of our beloved founding director, Ted Wilson, whose visionary leadership was the cornerstone of the Tanner Center for Human Rights. With unwavering dedication, he cultivated a legacy of compassion and activism, touching countless lives through his commitment to public service. Ted's profound impact extended far beyond professional realms; he cherished his family and cherished friendships, teaching us the value of prioritizing what truly matters. As we bid farewell, let us carry forward his spirit of resilience and kindness, remembering his timeless advice to never sweat the small stuff.
