Our 1st Annual, Welcome Back Barbecue was the perfect way to kick off our SLCSD 2026-2027 school year! Wonderful humans from across our district, delicious grilling by Utah School Employees Association (USEA), and representation by Horace Mann (thank you Mario!)The weather was lovely and vibes were as well! Thank you to all the ESP’s, nutrition folks, educators, administrators, district leadership and board members for sharing space and purposefully engaging in community! Shout out to our association siblings for the collective effort, commitment to our union members and the humanity we show through action, love and joy! Solidarity forever! ✊🏼Thank you to the Salt Lake Education Foundation for your donation!
