Shabbat Shalom!
Every summer, Bernie Camp’s Explorers program (grades 7–10) enjoy a unique experience that sets them apart from the rest of camp. Instead of spending each day on campus, Explorers venture throughout the Salt Lake Valley, taking part in exciting hikes, educational field trips, and hands-on adventures.

The group also gives back to the community by volunteering weekly at the Utah Food Bank and serving as role models by assisting Bernie Camp counselors with younger campers.

The J is incredibly proud of our Explorers! Through these meaningful experiences, they build confidence, develop leadership skills, and learn the lifelong value of community service while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Artist Reception for George Lambson
Wednesday, August 5 | 6-7 PM
2nd Floor Art Gallery
Free and Open to the Public

George Lambson is a Salt Lake City-based artist whose work draws heavily from his interest in science and background in engineering to bridge the digital and analog worlds. George leverages his technical expertise to study the strict geometry and painstaking care required in gem cutting. He then undertakes the challenge of translating these rigid crystals into watercolor paint.

Join us for a reception on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:00 p.m. His work will be for sale and on display for the month of August.
