The governing council for Multicultural Greek letter organizations at the University of Utah
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) at the University of Utah hereby strives to be a proactive entity that will seek the development, maintaining good faith with the University, and continuing growth of its participating organizations. It is of the utmost importance to promote unity, as a means of increasing resources; promote respect and equality; providing a network for involved students to grow and improving retention of minorities in higher education.

For our final officer Friday we want to introduce our lovely MGC President, Arezu Kazerooni! “My major is Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Consumer Health, Pre-PA and a minor in Military Science. I am Vice President, Treasurer and Sisterhood chair of Kappa Delta Chi. I like to spend time with friends, eat, do service with sisters, eat, watch new things, eat, try new things, eat, go on adventures, and did I mention I like to eat?”

For today’s Officer Friday, we have Amy Damian. She is the Vice President of External Affairs in MGC. “I am a 19 year old Junior majoring in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. I am The Secretary, Historian and Alumnae Relations within KDChi which I absolutely love. For fun I like to eat food and watch Netflix and listen to Bruno Mars”

For our second day of Officer Friday we have Yaritza Villagomez. “This is my third year of college as a Pre-Med student. My current major is Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in child life. I am the VP of Admin within MGC this semester and NME and Standards within Kappa Delta Chi. I love to spend my spare time playing with babies and children and eating yummy food!”

For our first day of Officer Friday we have Jasmine Robinson. She is the Vice President of Risk Reduction and Judicial for the Multicultural Greek Council. She is a junior at The U, double majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies with an emphasis in Social Justice and Psychology. She hopes to go on to get joint masters degrees in Public Administration and Social Work. She is also the Vice President and Treasurer of her Greek organization, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority
