As an undergraduate student studying Spanish and International Studies, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Chile. This experience along with other international programs I participated in taught me to value difference and learn from the traditions and customs of others. I was welcomed into many homes and treated as family. For One Westminster Day, I will be contributing to the MTSE Scholarship Fund to help a student have their own transformational international experience. Join me in giving. One Westminster Day is next week and I need your help raising money for May Term Study Experience scholarships! When I was 21-years old, I spent a semester studying in Krakow, Poland. I learned some Polish, carried a giant red backpack all around Europe, and learned there was a lot more to the world than small town Wisconsin. It was an amazing, life-changing experience—so much so that I have spent the past twenty years in Utah helping students learn more about themselves and our world by leaving their comfort zone and studying in places far from home. Will you join me by donating to the MTSE Scholarship Fund so that all students, regardless of financial ability can have this amazing opportunity?
