The Library is named for Emma Ray Riggs McKay (1877-1970), a music student and graduate of the University of Utah. The party--library style--has just begun! Celebrating Bach's birthday today in the music library and we have treats from Gourmandise (we'll replenish throughout the day). AND, try out some Bach on the harpsichord or clavichord. . .and one of our signature Golden Bachs (personally spray painted by Spence) will be yours!! ~Love to see you all in the library~ Lisa

📆It's that time of the semester. . .to celebrate🥳 some composers born in the fallish🍂 months. We've got some works out, and the playlist🎶 going. (Flutists: if you hear the strains of the Chaminade, it's not your imagination! 🤩) Cupcakes🧁(big and small, as well as GF) go out at the top of every hour until they're gone. 😩😱🙂

🎉The sabbatical talks were so inspiring. Many thanks to CFA AD for Research Becky Zarate, SOM director, Kim Councill, and our tech specialist, Spencer Kellogg.

The sabbatical ⚡ talks ended about an hour ago. It was so wonderful to learn about CFA faculty sabbatical projects. . .so many intertwined threads of reflection on travel experiences, introspection, and teaching!
