PAID study by the University of Utah!

Do you wish to aid in creating a better understanding of s*xual orientation? If so, please feel free to take the qualification survey provided by the Diamond lab at the University of Utah provided below. We are seeking people of 18 years or older to participate. Participants of all s*xual orientations are eligible for this study. We greatly appreciate every person willing to participate, and we thank you for helping us develop a greater understanding of human s*xuality. If you fill out the qualification survey and are chosen for participation the principal researchers of the study will reach out and provide you with further information. All qualified participants will take part in a self-report survey which asks questions pertaining to your childhood experiences both positive and negative and your s*xuality/s*xual behavior across your life. A portion of participants will follow on to the second part of the study where participants partake in a electroencephalogram task (EEG) where we will measure your brain activity. During this part of the study you will partake in a simple choice task. In this task you will chose one of two options, following your choice you will receive visual feedback based on your choices. You will also be viewing neutral and s*xual images in this part of the study. Participants who take part in the EEG portion of the study will be scheduled for a 2-3-hour lab session. If you complete this portion of the study you will be compensated for your time. The survey portion of the study will be completed on your own time on your phone or computer and there is no need to come into the laboratory. They survey should take you no longer than one hour. Individuals who complete the survey portions of the study will be compensated as well.
