We currently have availability in our 3-year-old classrooms at BOTH of our locations, plus a few Pre-K spots available at our CWH location.

Our program is designed with kindergarten readiness in mind, helping children build the academic, social-emotional, and classroom skills they’ll need to feel confident and successful as they head to kindergarten.

🎉 First Day of School = SUCCESS! 🎉

What a wonderful first day we had! 💛 We are SO proud of all of our kiddos for handling the transition so well and jumping right into a brand-new school year!

For the first two weeks, our classrooms are focusing on building routines, getting comfortable in their environments, connecting with teachers and friends, and learning what makes their classroom feel like home. 🏫✨

There are lots of new faces, new routines, new spaces, and new experiences—and our little learners are already showing us just how capable they are! 🥹💕

Way to go, kiddos! We can’t wait to see all the friendships, growth, learning, and memories this year brings! 🌈📚🖍️

🌱 Tiny humans. Big growth. Lots of different timelines. 💛

One of the coolest (and sometimes most confusing) things about early childhood development is that there isn’t one exact timeline for every child. Kids develop at different rates, and a child being a little ahead in one area and taking more time in another can be completely normal.

Developmental milestones are guides, not deadlines. They help us understand what skills are commonly emerging at different ages and, importantly, help us recognize when a child may benefit from additional support or a closer look. 🚦

That’s why at Buttons ‘n’ Bows, we don’t believe in comparing kiddos to each other. We focus on their growth, their strengths, and their next steps. 🥰

Our program uses the ASQ (Ages & Stages Questionnaires) system to help us track development across important areas like communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem-solving, and personal-social skills. It gives us another tool to make sure we’re noticing what each child is doing well, identifying areas where they may need a little extra practice, and connecting them with the right opportunities to keep growing. 🧩🖍️🏃‍♀️💬

Because development isn’t a race. 🏁
There’s no gold medal for learning to talk first, walk first, or put on your shoes first. 😂

Our job is to meet children where they are, give them the tools and support they need, and celebrate every little step forward. 🌟

Tiny humans are basically born to make friends (even if “friendship” currently looks like stealing the same toy over and over 😅).

Research shows that early social interactions help build the foundation for communication, emotional regulation, empathy, problem-solving, and even future academic success. Every game of pretend, every turn-taking moment, every “Can I play too?” is helping grow an incredible little brain. ❤️

So yes… when your child spends 10 minutes negotiating who gets to be the dinosaur, they’re actually practicing some pretty important life skills. 🦖😂
