Your involvement is vital to our school's success! Volunteering offers a chance to build relationships with other OC families, share your skills, and experience the joy of giving back. Help us build a stronger school, one committee at a time!

We still need a few committee chairs! Reach out to the coordination committee if you are willing and able to help support the Traffic committee, Publicity committee, Yearbook committee, and V&PA committee!

We still have over 400+ library books still checked out. Please look under your bed, in your closets, your drawers, cars, or behind the couch. Please bring them back to their home at our library.

If you have looked EVERYWHERE and still can’t find them. You can donate a different book in its place.

Thursday kids participated in a school wide physics day creating stomp rockets. Other blends also did other activities as well such as egg drops and Alka-Seltzer rockets.

Today the West High School Steel Band Club performed for Open Classroom students! Incredible music and talent from these students! West High School - Salt Lake City

Uppers (6th-8th) students attended Physics Day at Lagoon Friday. All students participated in the egg drop challenge, trying to keep an egg from breaking after dropping it from the Sky Ride to a target. Several teams kept their eggs from breaking and won prizes!

The 4th & 5th grade classes, under the direction of music teacher Eric, performed original music pieces today!

The V&PA Committee brings creativity to life at the OC! Through art events, classroom programs, and hands-on experiences, this committee celebrates student expression all year long.
This committee helps support:
• School-wide visual and performing arts experiences
• Creative expression and arts enrichment for all students
• Classroom access to engaging art materials

• Annual Frost Fest
• Art Stroll classroom galleries
• Performing arts events (Uppers Theater, Talent Show, and music performances)
• Ceramic program
• Monthly classroom art spotlight
• Organizing and maintaining the school art closet
From stocking supplies to showcasing student talent, the V&PA Committee ensures every classroom shines with creativity.
