The SAC is an organization involved in the retention, tenure, and promotion of the Anthropology Department faculty, as well as organizing student events.
The University of Utah Anthropology Student Advisory Committee works with department faculty to decide retention, promotion, and tenure of existing faculty, as well as the hiring of potential faculty. We also plan and promote events on campus for anthropology students, and work toward increasing student involvement with faculty and staff through research and other employment.
