NSO Day Three!
Welcome to the Battalion 4/c!
On the final day of New Student Orientation, 4/c hiked Ensign Peak where they were met and welcomed by the battalion. This was followed by a battalion breakfast hosted at the NSB. We are looking forward to a great year, congratulations 4/c!

Day Two Of NSO ✅
The second day of New Student Orientation started off strong with a campus PT led by Second Lieutenant Hogue! This was followed by briefs on customs and courtesies, professionalism on social media and an introduction to Qual Cards. Finally, MIDN participated in their 2nd Class Swim Qualification!

Day One Of NSO Complete!
This morning marked the first day of New Student Orientation for 4/c Midshipmen. The new MIDN started the day with a PRT/PFT, received administration briefs and completed paperwork. Welcome to the Battalion 4/c!

⚓️Summer Cruise: 3/c & 2/c⚓️
Over the summer our 3/c and 2/c MIDN completed CORTRAMID and Nurse Afloat Cruises!
During CORTRAMID, MIDN were introduced to life underway as a Naval or Marine officer. MIDN participated in a SWO, Aviation, Submarine and Marine week.
At Nurse Afloat Cruise, Nurse-Option MIDN experienced life underway as both an Officer and a Nurse. MIDN were able to practice skills in a clinical setting and learn about the medical side of the fleet.
On top of this, we wanted to give a special congratulations to SSgt Horrocks for receiving a NAM for his duties as a Plt. Sgt. at CORTRAMID West!

🦅🌎⚓️Congratulations to these New Marines!
Three of our senior Marine-Option Midshipmen recently graduated Officer Candidate School after 6 weeks of rigorous training in Quantico, Virginia. We are thrilled for them to lead the unit this coming fall with their leadership and knowledge skills. Congratulations on earning the title.
These graduates were joined by Gunnery Sgt. Escalante and Major Rittenhouse, our AMOI and XO.

On 04 May 2026 the University of Utah NROTC commissioned 10 new officers into the Navy and Marine Corps.
Congratulations to Ensign Van, Ensign Stoker, Ensign Rosa, Ensign Card, 2nd Lieutenant Buehler, 2nd Lieutenant Milch, 2nd Lieutenant Kirkpatrick, 2nd Lieutenant Musick, 2nd Lieutenant Martin and 2nd Lieutenant Hogue. We wish you the best as you enter this new chapter, Hooyah and Semper Fi!

Damage Control & Casualty Evacuation Lab 🧯⛑️
MIDN practiced casualty evacuation procedures and proper damage control at today’s lab. With the help of experienced OCs and MECEPS, we transformed the NSB into a casualty simulation.
