The annual Christmas Carol get together. This time is was Mindy Loo-hoo and the Grinch theme. Love this time when friends get together and we go around the neighborhood singing for fun! This time we added a trumpet and guitar as well as kid instruments. Love my friends and clients who have made this a yearly tradition. What do you think…..should I go blond?!?

Day two working at the school. We are helping lay a brick patio to help control the mud when it rains and we went on a home visit where we delivered water filtration systems to the community. We then learned about their day to day life and customs. I asked them what message they would like us to bring back to America and their response was “togetherness in the community is a must. Everyone should help and support everyone!” I found that pretty profound coming from a very rural community! I wish everyone could experience what we are!

Arrival into Nepal. Landed around 1:00 am. I didn’t realize we had to hike in and out of our hotel so packing in supplies at 2:00 am in the rain and muddy conditions was an adventure. Especially with a busted knee and cane! But we did it. The view from our hotel is stunning. The jet lag is real but the team is killing it. We had the morning to sort supplies and visit one of the oldest city’s that was part of the original spice trade routes. One of our projects is providing clean water so we were able to learn more about water practice and how important clean water is. Our team brought over a water filtration systems so we are able to provide families with clean water. They don’t have this option here in Nepal. If you want to help fund clean water DM me and I can send you a link. $40 helps provide clean water for a family of five for life!

Long day of travel but we had a great time in Singapore. Seriously felt like we were in the future with how amazing their architecture was and advance designs. Super clean, great food, and overall real cool experience. Our team is ready to kick off all our project Nepal!

Norway 🇳🇴….you were a dream. It was beautiful, clean, did way too much shopping, and we had an amazing show! Please in the streets, in the trees, and hanging out the windows! I will admit, I had the hardest time sleeping since the sun literally goes down for maybe an hour! Can’t wait to come back and explore more!

Finally felt a little Christmas spirit. Such a great night singing with some of my favorite people. Complete with multiple costume changes, a key-tar, and kids instruments! One of my favorite things we do at Christmas time. Best way of spreading Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

Alright y’all. Question for you. Heading into surgery on Tuesday to fix my knee. Surgery for a voice user can be scary. How they intubate can have an affect on your voice so it’s really important to inform and ask the right questions. Is anyone interested in the questions I ask my Anesthesiologist on intubation and watching how I check my voice pre and post surgery? If so comment below! Second slide show how wack my knee is!
