We must be getting back to the studios! Teacher trainings today, led by Academy Director Evelyn Cisneros-Legate and Associate Director of Curriculum Stacey Mahan 💫. Instructors participate in ongoing trainings and reviews of the Ballet West Curriculum 📋 which covers students beginning at age 3. Great work, teachers. Some teachers like an 🍎 on day 1, we like a strong 5th position.

Meet Schuyler Crozier, who is participating in her second year of the Ballet West Academy, Current Contemporary Performing Ensemble.🩰🧪 To close out the season, Current dancers audition and are selected to participate in the "Current Choreographic Lab," a chance to develop their choreographic voice by researching with fellow dancers. Schuyler's research intends to understand the impacts music has on the Choreographic process. Her favorite part was witnessing dancers incorporate her movement, emulating her aesthetic while adding their own artistic twist!💙

Beautiful views while learning ballet? The ultimate dream evening!🩰🌲💙

We can't wait for our free Main Library rooftop beginner adult ballet class (anyone ages 16+). This series has been so wonderful; we've met so many amazing people all summer long! Our final class is tomorrow at 6 PM, and spots are FULL. But don't worry, we'll be doing this next year too! In the meantime, you can attend our adult classes or workshops and become a student this year. Enroll with us by August 24 before spots fill up (they go quick.)💫

☀️If you are coming to class tomorrow, be sure to bring sun protection (hats, sunscreen), clothes you can move in, and flexible shoes!☀️
