A cover of “Helplessly Hoping” by Crosby Stills and Nash, such a beautiful song with great harmonies. This band reminds me so much of my Dad. RIP David Crosby.

CMT is doing a special on Vince Gill tonight, so I thought I would cover one of my favorite guitar solos of his, ”Liza Jane.”

Watching Incubus in concert tonight, I’m excited, they’re such a great band. Here’s a cover of their song, Aqueous Transmission. I used my loop pedal to get the main riff down, then I incorporated some lead riffs. “Lying face up on the floor of my vessel I marvel at the stars and feel my heart overflow”

It was an honor sitting in with Tully Cathey today. We played some jazz up at the Alta Lodge this morning. Tully was my professor at the University of Utah for my undergraduate degree, he’s now a really good friend and mentor. If you haven’t seen Tully play live, you need to, he’s incredible. Tully and Willis Clow (also incredible) play on Sunday’s up at the Alta Lodge for their Sunday brunch service.
