It’s amazing the beauty that is right in our backyard if you take them time to look and listen…
Our students had an amazing day exploring the Jordan River Migratory Bird Refuge with the Utah Center for Documentary Art and Film! Students learned about the importance of this space, connected with nature, and created art inspired by the landscape using found materials.
After a great summer of exploring and serving our community, we’re taking the next two weeks off before our final Socialize & Serve meetup on August 5th. During our last event, students will help get SLCSE ready for the new school year by supporting teachers with classroom setup, planning a back-to-school activity for the student body, sprucing up our atrium space, and beginning to harvest from our garden.
We can’t wait to finish the summer strong!
