Don't miss the opportunity to see "Mazurkas," one of José Limón's masterpieces, which has not been performed in its entirety since 1964! Following a visit to Poland after WWII, Limón created "Mazurkas" to celebrate the vitality of the Polish people with music by Polish composer Frédéric Chopin.

The evening will also feature "Join," choreographed by Aszure Barton in collaboration with Grammy-nominated composer Ambrose Akinmusire. Join takes Limón's vivid, poetic description of a lost Doris Humphrey work to create a new world of spellbinding movement and transcendent storytelling. Students from University of Utah’s School of Dance will also perform Limón's "Psalms," performed in Utah for the first time since the 2002 Olympics.

Healthcare Stories is back! 🎤

Story pitches are now open for the 9th annual Healthcare Stories, coming to Kingsbury Hall on Feb. 11, 2027. This year's theme: Guts!

We're looking for stories from across the healthcare community—patients, family members, clinicians, staff, faculty, and students. Share a story of courage, humor, resilience, vulnerability, or the messy, meaningful experience of being human.

Check out this behind-the-scenes footage of our production team replacing the grand drape in July. The old drape had a tear at the top and was getting very worn. In addition to being pretty (check out the gold fringe!), the new drape is also fire retardant, improving safety for all who enjoy our venue!
