I use a Bitcoin case in some of my sessions and have a passing interest in crypto-currencies. The market value of all such instruments is up nearly 16x from the start of the year. Did we miss the rocket or will it continue???

"Connectedness" and "the internet of things...." will continue to grow. Interesting story of Samsung buying Harman - best known for its Harman Kardon audio products, but has touchscreen and other "connected" products. Looks like just over a 1.1x purchase price to Revenue multiple, which seems a little low for a company with significant growth potential.

Amazon reported decent results, but lower than many had expected. The company continues to invest for the future, putting a lot of downward pressure on current results. But I believe that their scale and first mover advantages will give them lasting benefits.

It's heading back into investment mode.
