Hello 8 year old Earl. 💖✨💖

Here is when I really started to realize that I’m by myself in my choices. I was finding out that my parents didn’t know everything and the simple fact that my parents didn’t know everything scared me. I was starting to hide behind my fear and take on way more than a 8 year old should. I started to realize we were poor and started to understand my dad leaving at least once a month, supporting his habit and addiction leaving us in the cycle of not having enough. This is where my story really started growing into the finite of abundance. My happiness and my glow started to dwindle as I realize my parents were humans and not superheroes were angels. Realizing I couldn’t get the things I needed when I needed it. This is the pivotal moment of the story of unworthiness and not feeling safe and being provided for.

My love for serving and being silly, and just having the mentality of joy, waking up happy, and just the wonder man of life in the curiosity of new things was slowly fading away at this age. I told her they could see it in this picture and remember this picture as if it was yesterday.

For the rest of this month I am visiting this little man. Letting him know that he is worthy of abundance safety, and always is provided for. I’m going to remind little Earl that he’s funny, playful, and loves to serve and give. I am here to break cycles, and change stories. No matter how long it takes. I’m here for you buddy! I love you! You’re safe! You’re seen! You’re heard! And you are amazing!😍🙏🏽💖

Just do the work!

The work…
•How am I showing up in every moment of my life?
•Am I living in pure joy?
•How am I reacting in stressful situations?
•Can people count on me?
•How do people really think of me?
•How do I really think of myself?
•Am I a safe place?
•How truly empathetic am I?

Answering these type of questions and being aware of the answers was one of the first step for me doing the deep work and finding myself. It’s an ongoing journey, but I had to start somewhere.

One way was deep brotherhood! Whether it be a group of men and or 1 to 2 men showing up for themselves and me and at the same time not judging and make me feel bad for not showing up. Holding me accountable in a respectful honorable way and to assist me in putting me right back into my integrity. I didn’t know any of this was out there. And if you’re the same way and asking the same questions, please let me know I would love to show up for you the best way I can!!!

With what’s going on this day and age, the work starts within. My brothers or holding converges 6 in the Oregon coast October 28th through the 31st where are you could take a good look at these questions and work on the pillars of spirituality, emotion, physical, and self. If this lands for you let me know if I could assist you to get you there!!!

I just love the art of hair! That’s it. So because of that, I consider myself a hair nerd and/or a hair artist. Not a Cosmo, stylist, or Barber because I love it all and challenge myself to be a master of all. .thecollective @

5ive steps to finding your authentic style.

1. If you own it, it’s yours. Forget what everyone else thinks. But there is a fine line with what is pleasing to the natural eye.
2. Always have something timeless/classic and something trendy and something that is authentically your expression of who you are in the closet at all times.
3. Mismatch with contrast to match. There’s a fine line with making unmatching look good. Don’t try to hard and and truly utilize number (1.)
4. Always buy what I know that l’m going to wear so when I pick out my clothes I’m always wearing something that’s authentically me.
5. Know ahead of time what you’re going to wear. I plan or lay out my outfit the night before and sometimes know what I’m going to wear for the week.

👁Attention to detail✂️

Not only is the attention to the details is important, knowing with the details are important. We all have a different perspective and to know what aesthetically looks good and the balance in that is a gift some people could train their eye, but it’s a gift.
❤️‍🔥
Just conquering the fade isn’t the only thing that makes you a good barber. Conquering the perfect tone and the most smooth blowout does it make you a good stylist.
❤️‍🔥
Continuing to expand your awareness of detail in the aesthetic of beautiful and continue education is the biggest part of my art and all the artist that I love to watch.
❤️‍🔥
Don’t ever stop enhancing your awareness of detail and studying your craft. Because I know I won’t!!!
