The Department of Human Genetics is part of the University of Utah's School of Medicine. elegans, Drosophila, mice, and zebrafish.

The Department of Human Genetics is dedicated to studying the genetic control of development and disease. Research interests of our faculty are wide-ranging and include the identification of genes implicated in human disease using the major model systems for genetic research: C. Our research interests include bioinformatics, genomics, statistical genetics, population genetics, clinical genetics, and evolution.

. We’ve made a decision to go ahead and suspend Journal Club and RIP meetings for the foreseeable future. It seems like the prudent thing to do until we have better control and understanding of the coronavirus.
