This summer, we launched our Garden Club with the help of our new Greenhouse and Garden Coordinator and what a fun season of growing it has been! ☀️
Each week, students explored a new topic about plants, learning about their different parts and structures, from seeds and roots to flowers. 🌻
After learning about germination and how a tiny seed transforms into a plant, our kiddos got to put their knowledge into action! Each student planted their very own broccoli seeds in a pot they decorated themselves. 🥦🪴
A few weeks later, they were excited to take their pots home full of growing sprouts! 🌱
We had so much fun learning, planting, and getting our hands dirty in the garden together this summer. 😌

Each year our School Age Program serves over 200 kids. We offer before and after school programs as well as all-day summer programs for students in kindergarten all the way to sixth grade. 📚
In our care these children are learning, having fun and building confidence. 😌
We’re asking for support with items to give these students the best experience possible. ‼️
