One of the things that motivates me in my fitness journey: setting myself up for healthy years later in life.
According to a study presented at the American Society for Nutrition, you can lengthen your life expectancy by about 24 years! How? By doing certain habits:
✅ Exercising regularly
✅ Managing your stress
✅ Eating nutritious food
✅ Getting high-quality sleep
✅ Drinking plenty of water
✅ Prioritizing social relationships
Getting your steps in, meditating, going to bed at the same time every day, and prioritizing time with friends can help you live longer! These habits sound so simple, but consistency is key.
Keeping a journal has helped me track my habits and note how I feel. This small act goes a long way in helping me stay consistent.

• Find an exercise you really enjoy doing
• Carve out time in your schedule and guard it
• Write down your goals and milestones (and reward yourself for meeting them!)
