Summer Camp Week 2!
This week we learned all about the most common visitor in our outdoor classroom, birds! The older kiddos got to dissect owl pellets and make hummingbird perches, while the littles made rock birds and binoculars. 🐤🧡✨
Each week of summer has a new and different theme for our campers, along with all of the everyday exploring, creek time and play!

🌱 Nature Playschool - Our nature immersion pre-K nurtures early childhood development through play, learning, and exploration. Rooted in wonder and connection, children grow through hands-on experiences in the natural world.
Morning Drop-off class for ages 3-6. Check out our website to learn what sets us apart!
🔥 Kindling Club - Our newest program, Kindling Club is where curiosity catches fire!
Designed especially for young learners, our subject-style approach gently introduces children to focused learning in areas like early reading and writing, foundational math, and of course, hands-on environmental science exploration.
Kinder-style learning for ages 5-7. Great for homeschool enrichment and/ or elementary school prep!
🐣 Nestlings - Nestlings is an outdoor enrichment program designed for littles around 12 months + and their caregivers!
Get outside, play, and explore with your babe in a safe environment and among fellow parents, nannies, and caregivers!

Keychains to celebrate the end of the School Year! The friendship ones have us in all the feels. 🥹 These kids are the absolute best!
When my son was born last year, I was terrified of taking him outside. Even though I had years of experience proving that kids of every age thrive when spending time outdoors, the fear overcame me and I spent so much of his early months inside in hopes of protecting him. It took so much time to convince myself nature was safe while postpartum, and once I snapped back to my regular outdoor loving-self, I wanted to make it easier for not only me, but for other moms and dads in our community that may struggle or want to get their babies outside in a meaningful way.
I started our Nestlings Program for so many reasons, but a huge part of it was to support myself and other families in the reminder that the outdoors are not only good for littles of all ages, but necessary for their health and development.
