For me personally, owning a RED is the best investment I've made for my business. I rented RED's for the first 6 months after starting my production company until I could afford one myself, and they made a HUGE difference in my ability to raise my prices, get new clients and maintain the clients I already had. A little BTS from my latest YouTube video showing how to get a shot like this 🎥 tip number 1, make sure your glidecam is balanced perfectly. In this shot my glidecam had a 4 second drop time so that I could tilt it up and down a little easier. Tip number 2, film at 60fps to allow you to slow down and speed up. And tip number 3, use time remapping in Premiere Pro to speed ramp your footage. During the fast part, I sped it up by 4,000% and then eased it back down with a ramp so it didn’t stop so abruptly.
