Staying on top of education, latest trends, and newest technologies gives you not only an advantage but helps you keep UP meaning you don't miss opportunities but you OWN them.

👉 Anyone had that one friend who mastered one trick - and then never learned another one? There's probably have a lot you have goin on RIGHT in biz. But just because it's working --- doesn't always mean it is the BEST way to do it. What is changing a process, or re-envisioning a technique or strategy could CHANGE THE GAME for you? Would you be open to it? In educating yourself on other strategies or methods - sometimes you save yourself, money, and business in the long run.

👉 Most often when we think education - we think investment of TIME and MONEY which are two things we always need more of - not less. In today's age - you can find a lot of education at your Finger tips - that's right "the internet". Seriously ya'll - Pinterest is a great way to learn! E-courses, Memberships, IGTV's even - there's tons of easy and cheap trainings online.

Learning is lifelong, and is the answer to a bold, bright, and bossbabe future! By committing to self-education, you can achieve many of the goals and resolutions set for your business in 2020 and beyond! 💃🏼

One major goal we've been working toward this year is our STRAIGHT UP WORKSHOP 💥

This year has thrown a lot of curveballs at us all.

We've all had to adapt.
To find new ways to move forward toward our goals.

It hasn't been easy but MAN has it been worth it.

Have you ever heard the quote:

"A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor" by Franklin D. Roosevelt? ⛵

This year has been anything but smooth sailing. But the good news is that it's been a huge opportunity for growth and learning! Which has made it THAT much sweeter to finally achieve the goals we've been working toward.

Sure, a lot of plans have gone awry.
The final product may look very different from what we originally planned.

But we made it! The workshop is FINALLY happening in just a few days and we can't wait to finally celebrate with all of the amazing boss babes that have joined us on this journey! 💃

What is one item you can't go a day without??

For me it's my blue light filtering glasses! 😎

Being an entrepreneur (or maybe just living in 2020) means staring at a lot of screens! It can be tough to get much done these days without using some kind of technology!

BUT. Blue light is tough on your eyes and can make it hard to sleep at night! So, I always have my handy glasses close by!

What is one item you can't live without?

🙋 Anyone else hustlin' from home!? 🙋

Here are 3 tips for staying productive while working from home:

1️⃣ Designate your workspace and keep it sacred! 🖥️

Sure, it can be fun to have a day working from bed and bingeing Netflix while you work out your to-do list. But do you know what that does to your productivity!? It TANKS IT. 👎 Decide where you get your work done (a spot at the kitchen table, a seat on the couch, a desk in the extra bedroom), and do your work there! This will train your brain to stay focused when you're in that spot and your work will get done quicker!

2️⃣ Plan your breaks! 🕑

Working from home means one thing is for certain...DISTRACTIONS. I mean, come on! The kitchen is only a few feet away! It can be so tempting to grab a snack or take an extra long bathroom break that leads to bingeing your favorite show on the couch... But if you have breaks that are planned out ahead of time it's easier to stay focused and bust out that to-do list when you've decided you're on the clock!

3️⃣ Track your progress! 📈

It may sound nerdy but it's always a good idea to track your progress and reward yourself for reaching your goals! Whether that means scratching things off of your to-do list, or rewarding yourself with a quick snack after you finish your tasks for the day, it sends an added sense of accomplishment to your brain that'll leave you feeling great!

It can be tough for people to support a dream that they would be too afraid to chase themselves!

But even if you understand that...it can be a tough and lonely road at times.

So, you always have to remember:

You're not in this for them.
It's not about pleasing everyone.
Those that have doubts are only speaking from a place of fear.
Those who's opinions really matter will only be cheering you on.

📚 What book are you reading right now? 📚

Right now I'm in the middle of Atomic Habits: Tiny Changes, Remarkable Results by James Clear

You guys. It is so good! 👩‍🏫

One of my favorite things that's stuck in my mind from the book is the idea of progress and the point at which you begin to see results.

He talks about how the temperature in a room may slowly be getting colder, and yet you won't be able to see an ice cube start to melt until it reaches the temperature of its melting point.

It doesn't mean that the temperature isn't getting warmer with all of the small degrees of change before the melting occurs...

It doesn't mean that each degree isn't as important as the others
Or that any of the first degrees of change are less important than the ones that cause the change you can SEE

You may have to hustle for a while before you can see results from all of your hard work
And you may have to work even longer for others to see all of the amazing fruits of your labors.

But the first step is always just as (if not more) important as the last.
Every step, no matter how visible to the outside world, is important.

Every step is progress. 👣
