We’ve been busy! 🏃
The last few months have been packed with milestones, celebrations, and opportunities to connect with our College of Pharmacy community. Recently, the college...
- Raised money for student organizations at the long anticipated restart of the College of Pharmacy Gala.
- Had P3 students participate in a Mock Congressional Testimony during their Health Policy course.
- Honored the Class of 2026 at the Awards Banquet.
- Celebrated the newest graduates at Convocation inside beautiful Kingsbury Hall.
- Celebrated former Dean Randall Peterson’s Legacy of Leadership, including the naming of a newly renovated L. S. Skaggs Sr. Hall classroom. Room 216 is now The Peterson Lecture Hall, in honor of Dr. Peterson’s near-decade of service as dean.
- Hit the Old Mill Golf Course for another great College of Pharmacy Golf Tournament.
And that’s just a snapshot!
Thank you to everyone who helped make these events possible, and who continue to support our students and college. We can’t wait to share even more with you as the year continues!

We'd like to extend a congratulatory message to current P3 student, Katie Gilmore, for being elected as Speaker of the House for the National Executive Committee of the APhA-ASP - American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists! 🎉
"We are very excited for Katie to step into this new role and represent our college’s chapter at the highest level. She will be an excellent Speaker, with ambition to connect with the ASP student body across the nation and familiarize students with the policy process to minimize the barrier to getting involved." - Dr. Grace LaFleur, PharmD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), University of Utah College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacotherapy
Included are photos from Katie's campaign speech, sworn in proceedings, and other campaign activities and activations during APhA's Annual Meeting & Exposition, March 27-30, 2026, in Los Angeles CA.
