Check out the new collection harvested in MWDL from UU-Marriott Library! “Chieko N. Okazaki papers (1924-2012)” consist of correspondence, administrative documents, and memorabilia from her teaching career, the Japan-Okinawa and Japan Central Missions, her term as the first woman of color to serve as a Relief Society General Presidency member, and speeches and manuscripts from her time as an author and speaker. (15 items).

Bored at home? You won’t be with a wonderful viewing selection from the Dumke Family Home Movies Collection, recently harvested into MWDL from our Marriott Library partner, from the University of Utah - J. This collection contains home movies from the Dumke family covering the years 1920-1960. Scenes of family celebrations and outdoor recreation are included. (63 items) Let MWDL know if you have new collections that we should harvest; we would love to see and include your new content!

Check out the new collection recently ingested into the MWDL portal: Utah City and Town Incorporation Records, from the Utah State Archives! This collection contains records documenting the incorporation of cities and towns in Utah. The bulk of this collection is drawn from the records of the Lieutenant Governor, additional records will be added from other sources, such as county records, as they are identified. Thanks to everyone that helped staff the table at the Family History & Genealogy Conference held at BYU, July 30-Aug 1, 2019, and thanks to all the attendees that stopped by! Over the 3 days, we had 79 brief interactions and 116 in-depth interactions with conference attendees!
