Throwback Thursday! Future J.H. Knox Intermediate School students who currently attend C. T. Overton Elementary School had a special hands-on experience during Construction Day! With support from Barnhill Contracting Company and students from several RSS CTE classes, future Trojans learned how their new school is taking shape. From exploring masonry and design models to getting an up-close look at the tools and skills used on-site, students enjoyed an exciting sneak peek at the building process! ✨👷‍♂️💙🏗️

Throwback Thursday! Last year, on September 20, 2024, community members and district leaders came together for the groundbreaking of J.H. Knox Intermediate School. It was an exciting day marking new beginnings. Talented students from C. T. Overton Elementary School crafted beautiful paper flowers, each sharing their visions for the new school, including dreams like “A Big Library.” We can’t wait to show you their dreams coming to life as J.H. Knox continues to take shape! 💙💛

Meet Ms. Julie Hartness, the campus leader of J.H. Knox Intermediate School! Formerly the principal of Hanford Dole Elementary School, she now leads C. T. Overton Elementary School and our brand-new school under construction, J.H. Knox Intermediate School. We’re excited to have her leading both campuses! 💙✨💛
