🦍🌿📚 Storytime Pop-Up Adventure! 📚🌿🦍

We had a wild time at our Judy Center Storytime Pop-Up last week! 💚 We teamed up with Pond’s Edge Apartments & Townhomes and the Wicomico County Library – Riley Branch for a fun-filled jungle-themed Storytime!

📖 We enjoyed the silly and lovable Goodnight, Gorilla and got everyone moving with a jungle-themed version of “The Wheels on the Bus”! 🚌🐒🦁🐘

From reading and singing to laughing and learning, it was such a wonderful time connecting with families and bringing the joy of literacy right into the community. 🌟

A huge thank-you to Pond’s Edge Apartments & Townhomes and the Riley Branch for partnering with us, and to all the families who joined in on the fun! We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💕📚

The Judy Center is excited to host a fun and engaging Music Class, led by Chesapeake Music Therapy! 💙🎵

Join us for a joyful time filled with music, movement, and plenty of opportunities for little ones to explore and express themselves through music. 🎤🥁🕺

Hey Beaver Run Families! We are excited to see you at Beaver Run Elementary's Open House today from 3:30-5:30pm. We are excited to meet you and share more information about how the Judy Center works with families with children 0-5 years old!

Open House is approaching!!! Come join us on Thursday, August 27th, 3:30-5:30 to meet your teacher. Resources and information will be available including, Title I Orientation: What does Title I look like at BRS? See you soon!!!

We are absolutely excited to welcome Angel Horsey as the new Beaver Run Elementary Judy Center Site Coordinator! 💙🦫

🌟 A message from Angel:

"Hi everyone! I’m excited to be joining the team as a Site Coordinator! I’ve been an educator for over 14 years, primarily teaching first through fourth grade, with a special focus on special education. I primarily taught reading and math, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with students at various levels and with different learning needs. I began my educational career in California, spent the majority of my career in Washington, D.C., and now continue my journey in Maryland.

I also have a background in social services, working with children and families, as well as experience in relationship and family coaching.

Outside of work, I love trying new foods, music, traveling, and I absolutely love the beach. Most of all, I love my family and spending time creating memories with the people I love.

I’m excited about this new opportunity and looking forward to getting to know everyone and being part of the team!" 🌊❤️
