We were so proud to present Oliver! JR. 🎭 Thank you to everyone who joined us at the theater and supported our students. The hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our cast and crew truly shined on stage, and we could not be more proud of all they accomplished! ♥️

We want to say a big THANK YOU to Meteorologist Tara Lane from Queen City News for visiting Sacred Heart to talk to our 2nd graders and for sharing kind words about us on the news yesterday! 🎥⛈️🌤️ During their visit, our 2nd graders learned what a meteorologist does, how to read weather maps, and where to find safe places in their homes during a storm. They had many good questions about hurricanes and tornadoes. 🌪️ They even got to see some weather demonstrations and weather tools! We also want to thank Aria, who has a special interest in weather and a special wish to meet a meteorologist, which led to this opportunity for her class. 💛💙

3rd grade created colorful Open Heart sculptures and “Crazy Bird” sculptures in Mrs. Durrett’s art class! Inspired by the joyful artwork of Jason Naylor, students used bright colors and lots of creativity to make each sculpture uniquely their own. ❤️🦜👩‍🎨

Viviana Illiano won a special opportunity to be principal for a day alongside Mrs. Brinkley! She grabbed her walkie talkie, cola, and chocolate to keep an eye on the security cameras. She gave the teachers a jeans day, performed a fire drill, and skated down the halls to monitor each classroom before relinquishing her duties! 🛼💛

We were so grateful to have welcomed Vision To Learn to our campus! Through free eye screenings and glasses, they are helping students see clearly and thrive in the classroom. Clear vision can make such a difference in a child’s confidence and learning, and we are thankful for the care and support they provided to our Sacred Heart students. Students who needed eyewear even got to choose their own glasses so they can head into the school year seeing clearly and in style! 😎💙

Naomi Fischer earned a special opportunity to step into the role of guest teacher for 4th grade art! She worked alongside Mrs. Durrett to plan the lesson, create an example project, walk through each step, and prepare the classroom before teaching the class. Naomi delivered a wonderful lesson, and our 4th graders rose to the occasion with some wonderful work of their own! 👩‍🎨

Rocky Renteria stepped into the role of sous chef for Mrs. Nollenberger and kept the kitchen running smoothly! From helping prepare tacos, cookies, and Pre-K snacks to cleaning the cafeteria and prepping the serving station for lunchtime, Rocky worked hard behind the scenes to make it all happen. Great job, Rocky! 👨‍🍳🌮🍪

Our golf team competed in the PECSAA Conference Tournament and brought home 2nd place, which we believe is the best finish in school history! We are so proud of our dolphin athletes for the way they represented our school with determination and perseverance throughout the season. What an incredible accomplishment! ⛳️🏆🐬
