Our JK students are already learning that there is strength in sticking together! 🐬💛 JK is doing such a great job learning one of the procedures of school: walking safely together in the hallway. Using rings to give them something to hold onto helps our little ones stay together, follow directions, and learn how to move through the school as a team. 💪

So much of JK is about learning how school works, building confidence, and discovering how to be part of a community. They are already putting our theme into action by remembering that it is Less Me. More We. 💙🏆

That feeling when your sister joins your House! 💙

House Sort Day is one of our favorites! Our students are sorted into the House they will be part of for their entire time at Sacred Heart, creating friendships, building community, and cheering one another on along the way. There’s no place like home!

Our four Houses, Fatima, Guadalupe, Knock, and Lourdes, compete for the coveted House Cup by earning points through challenges, teamwork, and acts of virtue. There is nothing better than being part of a team, and our House system is one of the many ways our Dolphins live out this year’s theme of Less Me. More We. Students can really practice humility by using their talents to support their team and help their House earn the House Cup! 🐬🏆

Today is , and we are so excited to finally share one of the incredible transformations that happened around campus this summer! 🎨

Thanks to a generous grant from Shea Homes, our art room has been completely transformed into a beautiful, flexible space where our dolphins from Pre-K through 8th grade can create and learn. The new space can also easily transform to support other enhancements, including music. One of our favorite additions is a large new sink that makes cleanup faster and easier, giving our students even more time to create! The transformation also extends outdoors with a new outdoor learning area featuring flexible seating options. Students can now take their creativity outside, enjoy some fresh air, and find inspiration in nature. 🖍️🌳😌

We were so excited about this transformation that we saved the big reveal for our students’ return to school last week! A huge thank you to Shea Homes for investing in our students and helping us create spaces where our Dolphins can thrive. 🐬💛

After their first morning assembly, our 8th graders welcomed their buddies to Kindergarten! 💙🐬

These special buddy pairs will stay together all year long, creating opportunities for our 8th graders to lead, encourage, and serve as role models for their younger buddies. And our Kindergarteners have an important job, too! They remind their buddies that you are never too old to play and have fun! These little buddies guide their 8th graders more than they realize. 💛

After a morning full of smiles, hugs, high fives, and prayer, our team is officially back together and ready for an amazing year! This year, we are living out the virtue of Humility with our theme, Less Me. More We. We cannot wait to see our Dolphins put that spirit into action all year long! Let’s go, Dolphins! 🏆💙

Only FOUR more days until the first day of school! 🤩 Our teachers are back in the building, and you can feel the excitement racing through the halls. Our team is putting in the practice, and we are ready for the BIG GAME! ⚾️⚽️🏀 This year, we are not thinking less of ourselves, but thinking of ourselves less. How can we use our talents to help the team? 🤝 We can't wait to see what our talented students bring to our team this year! 💪🏆
