Skip the business books this summer, says leadership expert: These 7 works of fiction will offer fresh perspectives Business books may be able to explain why it's important to leverage diverse perspectives, but they tend to be too model-driven to adequately reflect the complexities of the real world. For those insights, especially if you're in a management position, reach for works of fiction.

Please join in congratulating the faculty selected as fellows for the Center for Equity, Justice and Inclusion (CEJI) Pilot Program for the upcoming academic year. The faculty selected are:
Dr. T. Ross Leasure, Professor and Interim Graduate Program Director in the Department of English. Dr. Leasure has been the faculty advisor for the student organization, LGBTQ+ Resource Center, for the last eight years and teaches courses and has research interests in Q***r Literature and History. Dr. Leasure plans to increase programming around the LGBTQ+ community and explore experiences related to intersectionality to increase support and understanding.
Dr. Eun-Jeong Han, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communications. Dr. Han’s research interest is Intercultural Communication. Dr. Han has an interest in amplifying Asian American and Pacific Islander voices, as well as the intersectionality within the community through various programming and experiential learning opportunities in the CEJI.
The CEJI is located in Blackwell Hall and is designed to support under-resourced communities and to provide education around identities in the center to increase equity, justice and inclusion. Fellows will support CEJI residents, serve as a liaison with other faculty to provide educational and support programming in the CEJI.
