FIELD DAY FUN!
As we wrap up another incredible school year, we're taking a moment to look back at one of our favorite traditions ~ Field Day!
From our PreK3 students to our 8th graders, everyone spent the day enjoying friendly competition, team spirit, laughter, and plenty of fun in the sun. Whether they were racing, cheering on classmates, or simply making memories with friends, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a successful school year.
A special thank you to our teachers, staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day such a success. Events like these remind us that some of the best lessons happen outside the classroom.; through teamwork, sportsmanship, and community.
Swipe through to see some of the smiles, excitement, and memories from Field Day 2026! ππ§

You did it, SFdS!
During this year's auction, our amazing school community raised enough money to unlock a very special challenge for Mrs. Traum... FIVE DAYS of student-selected outfits! π
Each class had the opportunity to choose a piece of Mrs. Traum's wardrobe, and let's just say our students got very creative! From meetings and classroom visits to school-wide gatherings and prayer services, Mrs. Traum proudly wore every outfit with a smile and a great sense of humor.
A huge THANK YOU to all of our families, supporters, and donors who helped make this fundraiser such a success. Your generosity supports our students and our mission, and moments like these remind us just how special the St. Francis de Sales community truly is.
Which day was your favorite? Let us know in the comments! π

On Friday, we celebrated our 8th Grade Graduation Mass, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and our school community, these students were recognized not only for their accomplishments but for the young men and women they have become.
As you look through the photos of our award recipients, it is important to know that these honors are not given lightly. While some recognize academic achievement, many celebrate something even deeper: character, faith, leadership, service, perseverance, and the daily example our students set for others.
These awards reflect the values of St. Francis de Sales and the mission of our school. They honor students who strive to live their faith, treat others with kindness and respect, and lead by example both inside and outside the classroom.
We are incredibly proud of each graduate and grateful for the unique gifts they have shared with our school community. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to growing in faith and character have not gone unnoticed.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. May God continue to guide your steps as you begin the next chapter of your journey.

As we enter the final days of May, we reflect on one of our beautiful Catholic traditions ~ honoring Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
Earlier this month, our students participated in our May Crowning ceremony, where they placed flowers before Mary and crowned her as a symbol of love, respect, and devotion.
In the Catholic Church, the month of May has long been dedicated to Mary because of her faithful βyesβ to God and her role in bringing Jesus into the world. Through traditions like May Crowning, students learn about Maryβs humility, faith, obedience, and trust in God; virtues we hope to model in our own lives.
The flowers symbolize love and purity, while the crown reminds us of Maryβs special place in the life of the Church and how she always leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.
We are grateful to continue traditions that help our students grow in faith and deepen their understanding of our Catholic identity.
Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for us. βοΈ

8th Grade Spotlight: Luke
A Note from Lukeβs Parents:
Luke joined the St. Francis family in fourth grade, and it has been such a joy watching him grow over the years. During his time at St. Francis, he played baseball in both fifth and sixth grade and has faithfully volunteered each year at Vacation Bible School, where the adults he works with absolutely adore him.
Some of Lukeβs favorite memories include the Passarell Halloween parties, Field Day, playing the Rat King in The Nutcracker, portraying a soldier in the Stations of the Cross, and meeting his very first best friend at St. Francis, Kenzley Gordy.
Luke is smart, clever, and talented in everything he does. He is still discovering where his passions will lead him, but we know his future is bright. He is deeply empathetic and truly cares about the people around him. Luke is also a gifted artist, and we are excited to watch his creativity and talent continue to grow.
One thing that always makes us smile is that Luke is a bit of a βcloset readerβ β something we absolutely love about him! And when he lets his guard down, his smile and laugh have a way of making everyone around him feel lighter, as if the world is a better place simply because he is in it.
We love Luke dearly and cannot wait to see all the wonderful things his future holds.

8th Grade Spotlight: Megan
A Note from Meganβs Parents:
Megan is an incredibly talented young woman who continues to amaze us with all that she accomplishes. She excels at both piano and tennis, and she also sings and dances beautifully. Her creativity, discipline, and dedication shine through in everything she does.
One meaningful experience that stands out was participating in the ramp build project. Megan worked closely with the team, showing great cooperation, responsibility, and a willingness to help wherever she was needed. She communicated thoughtfully, stayed focused throughout the project, and contributed ideas that helped the group succeed.
We are especially proud of Megan for becoming a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Time and time again, she impresses us with her hard work and commitment, often bringing home Certificates of Achievement that reflect the effort she puts into all she does.
More than anything, we are proud of the kind, driven, and talented person Megan has become, and we look forward to watching her continue to grow and succeed.
