| In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Livingstone College student leader Bryce Gay is shedding light on an important issue often overlooked within the Black community: mental health among Black men and college students.

Through his latest op-ed, Bryce challenges harmful stigmas surrounding vulnerability and encourages more open, honest conversations about healing, emotional wellness, and support.

| This Foster Care Awareness Month, Livingstone College is proud to highlight the H.O.P.E. Emancipation Project, an initiative committed to supporting students aging out of the foster care system through healing, opportunity, preparation, and empowerment.

Founded under the leadership of President & CEO Dr. Anthony J. Davis, whose own journey began in foster care before becoming Livingstone College’s 13th president, the program provides students with year-round housing, meal support, mentorship, mental health resources, academic advising, and career readiness opportunities.

At Livingstone College, we believe every student deserves not just access to education, but the support needed to thrive beyond the classroom. Because when students are given support, community, and opportunity, they can become resilient, relevant, and ready.

| On May 5, 2026 Livingstone College hosted a campus safety press conference with local law enforcement and community leaders to provide updates regarding the unlawful entry incidents connected to College Park Residence Hall.

During the briefing, officials shared that a suspect connected to the incident has been identified through coordinated investigative efforts. President Dr. Anthony J. Davis also discussed enhanced safety measures implemented across campus and reaffirmed Livingstone College’s continued commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students, faculty, and staff.
