Our junior nursing students have been hard at work preparing for clinical experiences! 💙🩺❤️
Hours spent in the skills lab are paying off as they build confidence and competence in essential nursing skills. So far, they’ve mastered vital signs, manual blood pressures, feeding techniques (including tasting thickened liquids!), body mechanics, patient hygiene, PPE, wound care, nasogastric tube insertion and maintenance, and so much more.
The future of nursing is bright! 🩺✨

Just some of the skills already experienced- nasal cannula, bi-pap, secondary meds, TPN, Heparin gtt, IV push, wounds, dressing changes, foleys, and of course…IVs!!!!
