Are you that Special Person we are looking for? That someone who is flexible & willing to work with all age groups (0-5); must meet State’s pre-employment requirements though N.C. Division of Child Development & Early Education (Background Clearance, Medical & TB).

Qualifications:
• HS Diploma or equivalent & 18 years of age
• Dedicated & flexible
• Must be a team player!

*Preferred but not required at time of hiring
• NC Early Childhood Credentials (NCECC)
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (AA ECE)

Note: Applicants that would like to move into a Teacher or Lead Teacher Position must be willing to continue their education (Early Childhood Education). Minimum requirement will be at least 1/class per semester, if you have not earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. You can earn your education for FREE!!! We will assist you in scholarship programs and assist with tuition/books.

Responsibilities will be to assist staff, “sub” during their absences, cover lunches & breaks, general cleaning and basic care for children. Staff must have a warm and friendly personality, along with being sensitive to the feelings and needs of our children, families and co-workers.

1. Position - 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (M–F)
Lunch Staff
2. Position - 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (M-F)
Teacher’s Aid/Floater
3. Position - 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (M-F)
Asst. Teacher/Teacher

No experience required!!! Our team will train and model for all new staff, as we continue to provide quality care in our 5-Star learning environment.

Must have....
- Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times.
- Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team
- Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (when necessary)
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents and staff
- Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy
- Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies & fire drills

Kitchen Staff: Our Cook is wanting to retire after 11 years of employment. The Cook's position is responsible following a 8-week cycle menu, prepare meals, clean up after meals, wash dishes, clean kitchen, assist in ordering and may assist in giving staff breaks and lunches.
