So much of our news lately has been sad and heartbreaking but I am thrilled today to talk to Penny Kilby and she's asked me to let everybody in our Bluegrass family know that Steve Kilby is making great progress. Today for the first time he's been able to really respond and talk to her and seems to be improving greatly. He has been having seizure activity that is yet an unknown cause. He did not have a stroke. But his condition is improved enough that he may be released tomorrow and transferred to a rehab facility if he continues to improve through today.
As far as their home situation, they still do not have power and they've had no damage to the house from the storms. We are all thankful for that.
Steve has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. And we're so thankful that he and Penny will see the light of day shortly and Steve will hopefully be home before too long. The photo above is one that I took when we honored Steve and Penny at the Granite Quarry Fiddlers Convention a couple years ago. Steve wanted his "Star" student Gavin Woodruff to be on stage with them.
We love you Steve and Penny and prayers continue for healing and recovery!! 🙏 ❤️🙏

Please keep Steve Kilby and Penny Kilby in your prayers 🙏 ❤️
This is from our friend Tracie Murphy Woodruff..

Today, I spoke with Penny Kilby over the phone. Unfortunately, Steve Kilby may have had a stroke and was flown to Lewis Gale hospital for treatment. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers! Pray that Steve has a speedy and full recovery! 🙏
