The Pedestrian Tunnel Project is making major progress!

With over 1,000 unique crossings happening daily during the busy fall and spring seasonsโ€”as students, faculty, and staff move between residential housing, athletic fields, trails, the Chandler Range, and lakefrontโ€”the need for a secure and inviting pathway was paramount.ย

This strategic-minded leadership role emphasizes Salisburyโ€™s continued commitment to the legacy and the growth of our alumni engagement and giving scope.

The wool sweaters and heavy leather gear of the early days have given way to modern equipment, but the heart, Brotherhood, competitive drive hasnโ€™t changed. For over a century, Salisbury athletes have donned Crimson on fields, courts, trails, and ice, competing for Sarum and developing the resilience, humility, teamwork, and respect of Gentlemen.

Established in memory of Alexander Caldwell Whitridge โ€™05, the ACW Sabbatical Fund was created to give Salisbury faculty and staff the opportunity to step away from their daily duties and pursue experiences that refresh, inspire, and strengthen the qualities that make them outstanding mentors and educators.

This summer, multiple faculty members were awarded ACW Sabbaticals, including Instructor in Mathematics, Learning Center Instructor, and Day Student Advisor Adam Bunce Pโ€™29 and Executive Assistant Tina Bunce Pโ€™29.

Their trip to Europe was a journey of growth, reflection, and connection. Stay tuned to see where other recipients headed this summer!
