You Go Gull: Our graduates continue raking in teaching positions for next year! Elementary Education major and December graduate, Kendall Rakes will join the 1st Grade team at Pocomoke Elementary in Worcester County. Congratulations, Kendall!

You Go Gull: Good news keeps flowing for our recent graduates! Congratulations to History/Secondary Education major, Claire Scholl. She will teach 7th Grade World History at Wicomico Middle School. WMS's motto is, "Wicomico Middle Means Success," and Claire is ready to pour into her students in order for them to succeed!

It's T-Shirt Tuesday, and we're back with two more RPDS Celebration Award-Winners, Cassie and Kacie. They wore their SU Centennial t-shirts to do tai chi at Wicomico County's Arts in Motion Academy recently held on our campus!

You Go Gull: Danielle Follett LOVES Easton Elementary. She has served as an instructional assistant there, completed her internships there AND her children attend the Talbot County school. So, we are thrilled that EES loves Danielle right back and has hired the ESHEC Elementary Education Cohort member to teach Kindergarten next year. Congratulations, Danielle!

You Go Gull: Early Childhood Education graduate, Eunice Huesca’s internship students join her in sharing the news that she will teach 1st Grade Spanish Immersion at John M. Clayton Elementary in the Indian River School District in Delaware. ¡Nosotras estamos orgullosas de ti, Eunice!

You Go Gull: We'd love to tell you about Elementary Education major and Worcester County native, Amelia Jacobs. She is definitely “made to teach!” Since this Sea Gull graduated, the place where she will go is Pocomoke Elementary as a 2nd Grade teacher. Good luck, Amelia! See you later, alligator!

You Go Gull: Put your hands in the air for Early Childhood Education graduate, Sheyene Brown! Since completing her internship at Beaver Run Elementary last fall, she has been serving as a substitute teacher there and will return next fall as a Kindergarten teacher. Sheyene held several leadership positions in her sorority, Alpha Sigma Tau, and is ready to lead the next generation of Beaver Run Beavers!

It’s T-Shirt Tuesday and these two Outstanding Mentor Teacher Award-Winners from Showell Elementary are celebrating SU’s 100 years of preparing tomorrow’s teachers AND Worcester County’s 180th day of school today!

You Go Gull: Nina Morris is looking back fondly on her time at SU, and looking forward to starting her teaching career! The History/Secondary Education graduate will teach 6th Grade Social Studies at Wicomico Middle School. Congratulations, Nina!

You Go Gull: Math/Secondary Education graduate, Jada Martin was an intern at Salisbury Middle this spring and will return as a 6th Grade Math teacher! While at SU, Jada served as the Stage Manager for our Theatre Department and as President of the Sophanes Theatre Club. So, she is ready for the big show at SMS next year! (If you have been keeping track, yes, all five of our graduates this week were hired where they completed their internships!)
