John and the kids found a garter snake in the yard yesterday afternoon. I was very impressed, that the kids has remembered the lesson I taught them in the Spring about always asking an adult before trying to pick up any type of animal, bug or snake!

The kids and I worked very hard this morning on learning to hold a pencil and recognizing and writing the letter Aa! Check this out!
