They have been a dedicated sponsor of our program for past few years and we are grateful for their generosity and support.

Congratulations to Parkside’s Dontray Fuller who became the recipient of the inaugural Jacob Mullen Memorial Scholarship.

This scholarship has been established in memory of Jacob Mullen, a hard working and dedicated Parkside football player and wrestler who passed away from injuries sustained in a U. S. Army training exercise in 2025.

Dontray was the perfect selection this year as he was also a football player and wrestler who exhibited many of the qualities that Jacob demonstrated when he was a Ram. The football and wrestling programs are honored to be recognizing one recipient each year which will keep Jacob’s legacy alive.

I’m always looking for opportunities to offer my wrestlers to get better and learn from the best. This weekend we were able to bring in Penn State All-Americans Rocco Welsh and PJ Duke to conduct a clinic at the Civic Center on Friday night to kick off the MAWA Eastern Nationals weekend.
These two were exceptional and didn’t disappoint! A great clinic that was very well attended. Thank you Rocco and PJ for your generosity, time, and expertise!

South Regionals are coming up this weekend. Deadline for registration is Tuesday at 11:00PM.

Boys should have registered at their qualifier, but if they did not you must do it by tomorrow night.

Girls go straight to Regionals (no qualifiers) and you must be registered by tomorrow night.

All registration payments must be done online with a credit card. They are not accepting cash payments at weigh ins.

I’m pleased to announce that Parkside Wrestling is once again well represented on the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) & U.S. Marines Scholar All-American Team!
To be selected to this team a wrestler must be a varsity letter winner and have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher.
This is an outstanding honor given by two
well-respected organizations that support wrestling nationally.
Congratulations everyone and keep up the great work!
