What an honor — our 6th-grade Pathfinder team met author, Mrs. Megan Freeman, after reading Alone this semester! Hearing about her writing process was priceless. She even asked our students to brainstorm a title for her next book. Students will be sending their ideas soon!

REMINDER: Wednesday, May 20, 2026 is an EARLY RELEASE DAY. Rowan County Early College does not release early.

⏰ If your school day begins at 7:30 a.m., then your early release time will be 12:00 noon. If your school day begins at 8:30 a.m., then your early release time will be 1:00 p.m.

⏰ Please make sure that you have arrangements in place for students arriving home on a bus at the earlier time, or that you have arranged for an early release pick up at school. ✨💙
