Project MOVE focuses on the healthy development of middle school youth through nutrition and healthy lifetstyle project based learning and recreation enrichment, while promoting positive physical, emotional and social well being. Students learn about nutrition while cooking healthy foods and working on hands-on projects, and participate in 1 hour of recreation every day through teambuilding, free recreation, student choice activities and field trips to the YMCA and local community organizations.
