Congratulations Cheyenne!

Congratulations to Cheyenne Buzzard, the first recipient of the Roush-Goerig Memorial Scholarship. Cheyenne is a four-year member of the Southern Local FFA Chapter and a two-year member of the CCCTC FFA Chapter. She volunteered 25 hours working in the Columbiana County FFA Food Stand during her time in FFA, she also earned her State FFA degree this past spring and participated in numerous FFA activities.

Following graduation, Cheyenne plans to continue her education at The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (OSU ATI), where she will study Animal Science.

Cheyenne was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to assist with her continued education and pursuit of a career in the animal science field.

We wish her the very best as she begins this exciting next chapter!

The 2026 Columbiana County Fair is off to a great start! 💙💛

Last week, Southern Local FFA members worked hard to clean and prepare the FFA Food Stand and set up our fair booth.

Today, our members helped with the Columbiana County Farm Bureau's Show & Tell event, sharing agriculture with local teachers and coaches.

We are also proud to recognize Caty Brewer and Bella Pirogowicz, who are representing the Columbiana County Small Ruminant Association. Caty is serving as the 2026 Dairy Goat Princess, and Bella is serving as the 2026 Market Lamb Princess.

Be sure to stop by and visit the FFA Food Stand this week and enjoy an Apple Cider Slushie!
