🎺🎶 Saline Summer Band is in Full Swing! 🎶🎺

The Saline Summer Band is off to a fantastic start, and our talented musicians are hard at work preparing an exciting season of music and performances!

This large concert band is made up of students entering grades 6-9 this fall, and each rehearsal is filled with fun, energy, and music from a variety of styles. Students are building their skills, making new friends, and enjoying a great summer music experience together.

One of the highlights of the season will be performing the National Anthem at a Toledo Mud Hens game on July 19! The band is also preparing for their end-of-session concert and ice cream social on Thursday evening, July 23, where family and friends can enjoy an evening of music and celebration.

There's still plenty of excitement ahead, and we can't wait to showcase all the hard work these young musicians have been putting in. Keep up the great work, Summer Band! 🎵🍦⚾

Visiting Hornet Stadium for a practice or program in the coming weeks? Please note: The south entrance to Hornet Stadium will be closed during a two-week construction project. The stadium and bathrooms remain open for scheduled activities and can be accessed through the east entrance, closest to the visitor bleachers. Saline Community Education

Our Boys Youth Baseball Camp for incoming 8th and 9th graders wrapped up yesterday!

It was a great camp and another opportunity for our student-athletes to keep learning, working hard, and getting better. We want to thank our coaches and high school players for their time, energy, and dedication in teaching and mentoring the campers throughout the week. Their leadership helped make this a fun and valuable experience for everyone involved.

Great job to all of the players who participated—we can't wait to see your continued growth on and off the field!

🚔 What a fantastic Police Officer Day at Safety Town today! 🚔

Our Safety Town students had an amazing time learning about the important role police officers play in keeping our community safe.

A special thank you to Officer Wright from the Saline Police Department for spending time with our little learners, giving them a close-up look at his squad car, letting them experience the lights and sirens, and teaching them about the many ways police officers help and protect us every day.

It may be summer, but the Saline Swim Team isn't taking a break! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Our swimmers are hard at work in the pool—building strength, improving technique, and getting better every single day. Their dedication, determination, and team spirit are on full display as they continue to push themselves and support one another.

Summer Camp had an amazing time on today's field trip to Little Caesars Arena. From exploring the arena to making great memories with friends, it was a day full of fun and excitement.

After a busy day of adventure, a few of our campers took the opportunity to catch up on some well-deserved rest on the ride back! 😴🚌

Thank you to our campers and staff for making it such a great day. We can't wait for our next summer adventure!
