at individuals post on our pages. Our goal is to share ideas and information with as many individuals as possible and our policy is to accept the majority of comments made to our profile. Therefore, a comment will be deleted if it contains:
• Discriminatory language, including hate speech, based on race, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability;
• Threatening, slanderous, obscene, or vulgar language;
• Nudity in profile pictures;
• Defamation to a person or people;
• Name calling and/or personal attacks,

• Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile;
• Other comments that SAHS deems inappropriate. All links posted as comments on SAHS posts will be reviewed and may be deleted. Repeated violations of the SAHS comment policy may cause the author to be blocked from the SAHS page. We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment right away, and we are trusting in the maturity of our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely. How's your summer going? Too quickly, I imagine!! Just a reminder that if you want to be considered for the Alternative HS for 2022-2023, you must complete the online application. This applies to both new and returning students. New students must set up a building tour and interview. Call 734-401-4040 to schedule.

Think about this. How many distractions in one class period is too many? Each classroom has a bin for student phones. They're rarely used. Having access and the freedom to search at will is one of the reasons for a lack of progress. Self-discipline is tough, especially so with teens.

At Saline ALT, we allow students to use their phones before and after school, at breaks, and at lunch. Emergencies happen, and we're flexible. There are five land lines into the school. Parents are strongly encouraged to use them.

Please help us help your teens by reinforcing the school's expectations at home.
