The SWWC would like to congratulate our Building Trades CTE Teacher, Jeff Rittenhouse, as being recognized as one of 50 finalists selected for the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence! Job well done, Jeff!!

Two longtime friends from Saline High School just finished first and second in one of Michigan FFA’s toughest tractor competitions.

Seniors Max Girbach and Ryan Feldkamp took the top two spots in the utility tractor division at the Michigan FFA State Tractor Driving Contest, where competitors are tested on safety and precision while navigating a timed obstacle course. The finish adds another accomplishment to years of competing, learning and working side by side.

Their story goes well beyond tractors, with FFA, trapshooting, farming and technical competitions all playing a part.

Congratulations to Max Girbach and Ryan Feldkamp for their success at the State FFA Tractor Driving Contest today!

Both competed in the Utility Tractor division, with Max taking home 1st place and Ryan right behind him in 2nd place!

A great start to the (almost) beginning of a new school year!
