Students and Staff, we invite you to come participate and support our undocumented student success week for our undocumented scholars!

We will be having a week full of events! Starting next week, on Monday, October 19th to Thursday, October 22nd.

We hope to see you there!

On Wednesday October 21st from 1pm to 2pm, we will be having a live poetry reading with Doctor Hortencia Jiménez!
The author of a bestselling collection, " I Carry My Ancestors in My Bones." In Hartnell College building K room 125.

Her poetry explores many topics like immigration, grief, separation and more. As well as how it all connects with institutional structures and importances.
Food and drinks will be provided!

El miércoles 21 de octubre, de 1:00 p. m. a 2:00 p. m., tendremos una lectura de poesía en vivo con la Dra. Hortencia Jiménez, autora de la exitosa obra *I Carry My Ancestors in My Bones* (Llevo a mis antepasados ​​en los huesos). El evento se llevará a cabo en Hartnell College, edificio K, salón 125.

Su poesía explora temas como la inmigración, el duelo y la separación, entre otros, así como la conexión de todo ello con las estructuras institucionales y su relevancia.

We are excited to announce Undocumented Student Success Week! We hope you will join us this coming week dedicated to empowering our undocumented community with a week full of events!

This event features a special screening of "Her Last Day in the U.S." directed by Armando Ibañez that will be followed by a conversation with him!

The event will take place on Monday, October 19th from 10am to 11:30am at Hartnell College in the Steinbeck Hall located in building C.

Free food and drinks will be provided!

synopsis: “Mexican filmmakers Sebastian and Costa, shooting a film in Bolivia about the conquest by Christopher Columbus, become embroiled in controversy when their film schedule runs up against the Cochabamba protests, with local natives rising up against the privatization of their water supply. As the production is beset by more and more problems and the riots escalate, the tension rises between the crew members.”

We are excited to announce that two new dates have been added for virtual legal consultations! The newly added dates are: every second Wednesday from 2:00pm-7:00pm. and every fourth Tuesday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
