Hey MDS Families, just a friendly reminder that Back-to-School Night is TOMORROW, August 26th, from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM!
We are so excited to welcome all of our amazing MDS families!
Come meet your child’s teachers, learn about the exciting year ahead, and get ready for a fantastic school year!

🗳️ A vote for student voice!

It’s been a fun couple of weeks on campus as our student council candidates have been campaigning, sharing their ideas, and getting their classmates excited for the year ahead. Yesterday, it was time to cast those votes — and every grade got in on the action, even our youngest Crusaders in preschool!

It’s been a great hands-on way for our students to learn about leadership, making their voices heard, and what it means to be part of a community.

Now comes the hard part… waiting! 👀

Student Council results will be announced at next week’s assembly. We can’t wait to see who our new student leaders will be!

💛💙It’s Thankful Thursday! 💙💛

Today, we’re kicking off a new series where once or twice a month, we’ll take a moment to recognize the people, businesses, and organizations who continually show up for our Madonna community. Because so much of what makes our school special happens because of the people who support it.

Today’s thank-you goes to Canela Cafe! ☕️

Canela Cafe has been a wonderful supporter of Madonna del Sasso, always finding ways to show some extra love to our teachers and staff. From thoughtful treats to simply being there for our school community, their generosity never goes unnoticed.

Today we celebrated our first school-wide Mass of the year. 🤍

It was a beautiful morning of prayer and community with Fr. David. We especially loved celebrating our new students with a special blessing as they begin their Madonna journey.
From little moments of reflection and journaling to smiles shared during the Sign of Peace, the joy in the room was hard to miss.

Another great week at Madonna! 💙💛

From teamwork challenges in 5th grade and an exciting 8th grade puzzle competition to incredible sneaker sketches in art class, our students are already learning, creating, and growing together. And a huge thank you to Crumbl for the sweet surprise that made our staff’s first full week back even sweeter! 🍪 Have a great weekend Crusaders!

Welcome back, Madonna del Sasso! 💙📚

Today our hallways were filled with smiling faces, joyful reunions, and the excitement that only a new school year can bring. Every new beginning is a chance to grow in knowledge, kindness, and faith, and we can’t wait to see all that this year has in store for our students.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was welcoming Fr. Greg into each classroom to offer a special blessing over our students, teachers, and staff. As we begin this new school year, we are grateful to start with prayer, asking God to guide our learning, strengthen our friendships, and fill our community with His love.

Here’s to a year of discovery, service, faith, and countless memories. Welcome home, Crusaders—we’re so glad you’re here. ✨🙏💙
